However, the force of her descent was so powerful that it threatened to submerge the Earth. Enter Lord Shiva, the epitome of compassion and power.In a breathtaking act of divine intercession, Shiva caught the mighty river in his matted locks, gently releasing her into the Himalayas. This controlled release not only saved the world but also sanctified it, as the waters of the Ganges began their purifying journey across the lands. This was the birth of the divine source or “स्रोत” that illustrates Lord Shiva’s role as a protector and his benevolence towards all beings…. and this is the inspiration behind the Srottam clothing.
